Krishna Dallumah, the Founding Partner at M/s Krishna Dallumah & Indran, possesses a rich academic background, first earning his Bachelor of Economics (Hons) from the University Malaya, followed by an LL.B (Hons) from the University of London, and then obtaining the CLP before being called to the Malaysian Bar. With an illustrious career spanning over 36 years, Krishna has become a distinguished figure in civil litigation at all levels, including the Appellate Courts and the Industrial Court. With his economics background as well as encyclopaedic legal knowledge, Krishna has the special blend of expertise to deal with litigation cases involving complex accounts and fraud etc.

Legal Practice:

As a versatile legal practitioner, Krishna serves as Counsel in a diverse range of civil litigation areas across the entire Malaysian judicial system. His expertise extends from the High Court to the Court of Appeal and Federal Court. He also has appeared regularly at the Industrial Courts in Malaysia as well as handled matters in the Malaysian Arbitration Center. Krishna is a sought-after litigation Counsel, representing established legal firms such as Liza Chan & Co, BH Gan & Associates, Lee Boon Peng & Co, Chan & Chia and their clients, among others, at the Superior and / or Appellate Courts. His career is marked by numerous mentions in reported law journals, highlighting his successful representation of both corporate and individual clients in many reported cases. His list of clients includes listed companies, statutory bodies such as Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor (PKNS) and their subsidiary PKNS Engineering & Construction Berhad (PECB), multinational companies such as Hanson Concrete Sdn Bhd, Hanson Quarry Products Sdn Bhd and their subsidiary companies; clubs such as the Port Dickson Golf & Country Club, Seremban International Golf Club, Royal Sungei Ujong Club etc. He has recently represented Goldman Sachs in the 1MDB settlement with the Government of Malaysia and also successfully represented the retired members of the Senate / Dewan Negara in their pensions claims against the Government at the Court of Appeal.

In addition, Krishna is an accredited member of the Bar Council Advocacy Training Committee and regularly conducts specialised advocacy training to members of the Bar on behalf of the bar Council. In addition, Krishna is an expert in the Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA) and was tasked to brief members of the Bar around the country on AMLA provisions for the Bar Council. He has also been a Board Member of the Advocates & Solicitors Disciplinary Board for 10 years from 2006 to 2016.
