Tam Jia Woon pursued her Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree at the National University of Malaysia (UKM) and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor in the High Court of Malaya in 2009. She then began her journey in legal practice where she initially focused on both conveyancing and general litigation work in the early years of her practice. With her prior years of experience at 2 established firms, she continues with her practice now at KDI specialising in general conveyancing, estate and probate matters as well as drafting of Wills, powers of attorney, deeds of trust, joint venture and other types of agreements.

Tam Jia Woon represents individual and corporate clients in various types of property transactions including sale and purchase agreements, loan agreements, tenancy and lease agreements, trust deeds, power of attorney, wills and legal compliance for governmental approvals. She has also had experience in preparing trade mark registration applications and conducting trade mark searches in the office of the Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia. She continually ensures that her our clients’ interests are well protected and at the same time, strives hard to act fairly to all the parties in any transaction. Because of her vast experience in diverse areas of law and conveyancing, her commitment to excellence and her proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and Cantonese, Jia Woon is constantly referred to act for our clients from all walks of life.
